what can i learn?

my tuition is bespoke to your needs & goals which will be discussed in the first session. we can cover rudiments, grooves & fills, confidence, improvising, band & performance skills, technique, effective practicing, sight reading, drum recording, drum maintenance & so much more.

do you do online lessons?

online lessons are an incredible way to learn the drums from home. i offer online drum lessons using Zoom with professional video & audio quality. PDF's & other resources are supplied with each lesson & i can help you get your equipment set up for optimum learning.​

how often?

weekly or bi-weekly sessions are the most popular & effective way of studying.

i teach drum lessons from my private studio in the easily accessible Kemptown area of Brighton.

do you offer music exams?

yes - i can prep you for a Trinity Rock & Pop or RSL Awards exam & have a 100% student exam pass rate for students of all levels, grades 1-8.

what are the costs?

i offer the following sessions in-person or online via Zoom :

  • 30 mins - £20

  • 45 mins - £27.50

  • 60 mins - £35

payments can be made monthly or per lesson.
